About Me and My Art
I am queer, mixed media artist born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. I have completed my studies and received a Bachelor of Arts with a focus on painting, drawing, and printmaking at the University of Nevada- Las Vegas
My work is a visual exploration of the dream state and the subconscious mind. Drawing inspiration from my own experiences as a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I use a variety of mediums to create pieces that challenge societal norms and expectations.
One recurring theme in my work is that of clowns, a symbol of both joy and fear. Through my art, I seek to delve into the complexities of human emotion and the masks we often wear to hide our true selves. By juxtaposing images of clowns with elements of vulnerability and strength, I aim to provoke thought and spark conversations about identity and acceptance.
With each piece I create, I strive to create a space for introspection and self-discovery. My hope is that my art can serve as a mirror for viewers to explore their own dreams, fears, and desires. Through my work, I invite others to join me on a journey of self-exploration and acceptance, as we navigate the intricate landscape of the human experience together.
